We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EPBCS Principal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud EPM, particularly PBCS/EPBCS, and experience across multiple full-cycle implementation projects. You should be proficient in configuring out-of-the-box modules, writing Groovy scripts, and integrating data using tools like FDMEE, Data Management, or ODI. A solid understanding of financial and functional processes, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills, is essential. Experience in public sector implementations and automation using EPM Automate is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 2–4 full-cycle Oracle Cloud EPM (PBCS/EPBCS) implementations.
- Gather business requirements and create functional/technical specifications.
- Configure and customize EPBCS modules (Financials, Workforce, Capex, Projects, Strategic Modeling).
- Develop Groovy scripts, business rules, and automation using EPM Automate.
- Manage data integrations using FDMEE, Data Management, or ODI.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support users post-go-live.
- Build reports using Excel, SmartView, and Essbase tools.
- Work independently and document solutions clearly.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Experience in public sector implementations is a plus.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience should comprise of exposure to at least 2-4 full project life cycles (Development projects)
- Solid experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (preferably PBCS/EPBCS)
- Extensive experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
- Experience in Groovy scripting.
- Experience in out of the box modules Financials, Workforce, Capex, Projects and Strategic Modelling
- Implementing EPBCS at Public Sectors will be an added advantage.
- Specific knowledge of integration tools such as; FDMEE, Data Management or ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)
- Experience with automation scripts such as EPM Automate
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in, and SmartView
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of financial process and functional processes
- Ability to work independently with minimum guidance
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience in a project team environment using structured methodologies for gathering business requirements, business processes, data conversions and system interfaces
